"Six Authors in Search of a Character, Part 6: Yukio Mishima" in ZYZZYVA

Sean Gill's latest project––a six-part essay series exploring the unusual and complicated psychology of writers portraying on screen characters they originally created in print––has published its sixth and final online at ZYZZYVA, on the remarkable and disturbing experiment of Yukio Mishima rehearsing his own suicide in Patriotism (1966).
